The choice of paper for a work of art requires immense knowledge of textured paper and the look it will give to a finished product. A textured paper will change the entire look of an artistic presentation when compare to a normal smooth paper.  Sometimes the artist may choose to use colored paper in place of white paper to give additional effect to his creation as the drawing pencils come out with different colors on a colored paper. So for a perfect work of art the choice of a good paper and colored drawing pencils is essential.
