Drawing is one of the great relaxing tools which man discovered ages ago. Drawing is relaxing, is motivating, and improves concentration and lastly great fun. You can allow yourself to let your hand wander along and see for yourself the wonderful creations which come out of it. It helps you to think positive and is indeed not very hard.

Never self evaluate to discourage yourself but always evaluate to make improvement over your previous work. In art nothing is wrong or right. It’s the creative mind which is full of ideas which flow and take shape through your drawing pencils.

God has given you a creative license to create any work of art which is perceived by your brain. The drawing pencil in your hand should be able to mimic the thinking of our brain. As time passes, with every drawing your make, your confidence grows and it starts showing up on the drawing itself. With time and practice the techniques you think are hard today will be a child’s play for your creative hands.

For a beginner the first thing he needs to do is to assemble a drawing kit on his own which would lay the foundation to the great artist within him. To start with he needs to buys a full set of drawing pencils starting from 9H to 9B. One piece of very dark pencil usually called the ebony pencil for really dark lines, an eraser, we recommend the use of a knead able eraser which should be kneaded properly. A white pencil eraser, one pad of sketch paper of more than 100 gsm paper quality or bond paper. One drawing board and a table lamp for lighting.

The beginner must start his sketches using HB pencils and then gradually start the use of other pencils as he grows in experience.
